Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Environmental Product Compliance & Sustainability (EPC&S) / Product Stewardship Analyst/Specialist for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Raynham, MA. This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a KellyOCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. **Contractor Job Description**

**Core Proficiencies**

+ Experience in Project Management

+ Strong interpersonal and organization skills, with the ability to self-start on new tasks

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills (presentations, memos, training, etc)

+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work independently and as a team member

+ Willingness to learn, teach, and share information with team and peers

+ Industry experience in chemicals, electronics and/or medical devices (preferred)

+ Practical regulatory or compliance experience (preferred)

**Core Responsibilities**

+ Experience in writing procedures and/or guidance documents

+ Review and make recommendations for new material specifications

+ Provide in-depth final quality check to specifications for EPC requirements

+ Interfacing with suppliers to ensure EPC requirements and expectations are met

+ Communicating data collection needs to R&D Materials collection team to get data as quickly and efficiently as possible

+ Review and make recommendations for New Product Development (NPD) activities.

+ Provide guidance for materials on merging and existing environmental product and packaging regulations

+ Support business-level EPC impact assessments by completing per the stated timelines.

+ Support the upkeep and maintenance appropriate for EPC of material data collection and management systems, including training and participation on IT project teams

+ Review and complete EPC assessments for final review, including applicable Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system reviews/approvals.

+ Conduct PLM system Change Order (CO) reviews and approvals.

+ Perform gap analyses upon applicable standards and processes, as needed.

+ Supporting R&D, labeling, and regulatory affairs to ensure standards/processes are updated to comply with current and evolving regulations

+ Interface with R&D teams, Regulatory, Marketing and Supplier Management and other key stakeholders as needed

+ Assessing potential changes as it relates to EPC requirements from emerging issues and business specific goals

+ Respond to customer inquiries and communicate trends in customer requirements to NPD and Design Change teams in order to reduce certain design changes and increase Return of Investment (ROI) on new products.

+ Support the Medical Devices & Vision Environmental Product Compliance organizations as needed, including the participation of annual and periodic EPC assessments/audits, and executing on assigned action items

+ Support the EPC and overall integration of business mergers and acquisitions

+ Supporting the Sustainability Organization, as needed.

+ Provide support to Environmental Health Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) team during ISO 14001 and other audits, as appropriate

**Performance Standards**

+ Improve response time to manufacturing demands for material changes

+ Partner with R&D to ensure business-critical timelines are met

+ Delegating EPC assessments to other team members to reduce a bottleneck in deliverables

+ Complete documentation of EPC process, and regularly keeping procedures updated to reflect current requirements

+ Assume responsibility of non-priority requirements.

+ Improve customer inquiry response time.

+ Assume responsibility for training and continuity of the EPC program.

+ Maintain monthly metrics regarding Stewardship team accomplishments.
