**Job Description**


Production staff members will be responsible to accurately count, prep, assemble, seal and inspect medical device surgical trays in preparation for sterilization with the end-goal of the finished sterilized product being sold to the end user.


A variety of responsibilities, essential functions and duties may be performed as training permits, as well as the employee may work in different workstations as needed. However, other duties may be assigned as necessary.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


- Must read and sign off on ISO work procedures and work instructions.


- Data entry of PCC and/or Entropy training (if applicable).


Labeling Area

- Operate printing equipment to print labels.

- Compare, print, and co-check label information for accuracy

- Review and process updates on Change Requests, such as updating workorder routers/travelers.


Packaging Area

- Operate surgical tray sealing machines such as Doboy, Impulse, and Atlas.

- Prep, assemble, seal, and inspect surgical trays and pouches.

- Machine set-up.


Filling Room Area

- Perform set-up and disconnection of automated machines.

- Perform mixing operations.

- Operate filling machines- troubleshoot as necessary.

- Final inspection of finished DuraLock-C pouches.


Boxing Area

- Package finished surgical trays in boxes.

- Affix labels to products and boxes.

- Prepare skids for shipment to sterilizer.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior manufacturing/shop floor experience is preferred.


Language Skills


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written oral instructions.


Computer Skills


Prior manufacturing software experience is preferred such as AS/400, PowerLink and MS Office applications.


Other Skills and Abilities


Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.


Must be able to count accurately.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
