Kelly Services is seeking hard working and collaborative candidates that are looking for full time employment to fill multiple openings in production at AFB International's flagship pet food palatant manufacturing facility, located in Aurora, MO. Positions are temporary-to-hire, with the opportunity to convert to permanent employment with great benefits based on learning ability, on-the-job-performance, and demonstrated teamwork. The site is a 24/7 high volume manufacturing operation that makes liquid and dry pet food flavors. The positions being hired for are Mixer Packer (supporting dry production) and Utility Specialist (supporting liquid production); overall activity level for both jobs is heavily physical, performing strenuous daily activities of primarily production/technical nature in a food manufacturing environment.

-Mixer Packers are responsible for filling 50/55 lbs. bags with dry powdered product, ensuring proper packing of dry powder material, feeding bags through sealer, ensuring bags are stacked properly on pallets, and filling bulk bags with finished product.

-Utility Specialists are responsible for working with meat products, including blocks of meat that can weigh up to 70 lbs. each, blending intermediates according to set formulas, and adding ingredients based on set formulas. Both positions are accountable for performing work in a fast paced team-based environment, in accordance with company expectations related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

-Unique shift schedule allows for team members to work 3 days one week and 4 days the next week. 12-hour shifts start at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Day and night shift opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Starting pay for day shift positions is $11/hour, and $12/hour for night shift.
