Seeking a Professional Education Associate for an immediate career opportunity with one of the most prestigious medical device/manufacturing companies in the country.

**Position Overview:**

To assist with the execution of our Customer Education Visitation program, Preceptorship program, Phone Consultations and National Courses. The Professional Education Associate will work with sales representatives, marketing, R&D, as well as other areas of the business in different aspects for these educational programs. As well as, communicate with our Health Care Professional customers and assist with ensuring highest quality customer experience. The Professional Education Associate will ensure compliance to all legal, regulatory and HCC policies to include: Advamed, Pharma, ACCME and other global legal and regulatory bodies.


+ Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.

+ Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period. Training is required for changes in existing policies and procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies and procedures. Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.

+ Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area. Promote safety to all associates that enter work area. Follow Health Care Compliance guidelines as well as follow operating room training and safety standards (Bloodborne pathogens training, etc).

+ Collaborate and align with education specialists, marketing, sales and education specialists to deliver agendas customized to the visiting surgeons educational goals.

+ Support on-site coordination of surgeon visitors, including logistical planning, set up, welcome, monitoring schedule throughout the day.

+ Participate in regular education visit lab meetings.

+ Coordinate with our Digital team for promotion of events.

+ Utilize existing event management system, registration reports, creations of meeting profiles (aka. CVENT).

+ Assist with the tasks associated with National Program management when needed, which may include but is not limited to shipping and printing course materials specific to Orthpoaedics.

+ Assist with tasks associated with Preceptorship Program and Phone Consultation management i.e. collaborate with sales to understand visiting surgeons educational goals, and align with host surgeon visitation site.

+ Assist in copy approval process for Agendas, brochures, welcome letters and social media posts.

+ Work in a team-oriented environment and on project-based assignments.

+ Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area and promote safety to all associates that enter work area.

+ May provide direction of activities to others, as needed.


+ At least 1 year of relevant experience in Hospitality, Professional Education and/or Sales and Marketing.

+ A minimum of Associates degree is required, Bachelors degree preferred.

+ Experience within the Medical Device industry preferred, not required.

+ Strong verbal and written skills with prioritization of tasks, management of daily workload to endure the highest priority tasks take precedence.

+ Strong hospitality and customer service nature.

+ Team-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate with various personality types.

+ Aptitude for learning new systems with minimal direction.

+ Well-organized with the ability to plan multiple events at once.

+ Ability to follow up with stakeholders to close events in a timely manner.

+ Ability to keep track of tasks across multiple events and increase efficiency through use of system, best practices, and keeping clean records of every event.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; ability to quickly pick up new systems as needed.

+ Ability to photocopy, print, file, and complete necessary data entry.

**Physical Demands:**

+ Office deskwork, requiring sitting, walking, using phone and computer

+ May lift up to 30 lbs occasionally

**Work Environment:**

+ Office, laboratory and surgical facilities

_Hours: Monday Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (a 40-hour work week) No OT expected_

_In addition to hourly compensation, position offers medical benefits, paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and 401K._
