**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

As a member of the STEMSTL team, the Programs Manager will manage our five working groups, comprising educators, youth-development and community-development practitioners, and employers of St. Louiss STEM ecosystem. These workgroups address the five strategic pillars that our ecosystem identified as critical levers to improving St. Louiss STEM-learning and STEM-workforce system, namely:

+ Strengthening the ecosystem

+ Centralizing communications regarding STEM-learning opportunities

+ Supporting quality and rigor in STEM learning

+ Identifying and filling gaps in access to STEM learning

+ Connecting K-12 organizations and programs to St. Louiss STEM industries

These workgroups meet monthly to advise and help implement STEMSTL initiatives; STEMSTL staff, largely the Programs Manager, are ultimately responsible for executing the collaboratives strategic endeavors.

The Programs Manager will also work with the Executive Director to execute initiatives of STEMSTLs strategic plan. Duties will include:

+ Managing monthly workgroup meetings, including creating agendas, facilitation meetings, and maintaining correspondence

+ Support the Executive Director in the planning and execution of ecosystem gatherings (e.g., the ecosystems Annual Gathering, and monthly roundtables)

+ Oversee STEMSTLs Communications, including website, newsletters, and social media

+ In collaboration with Executive Director, Community Coordinator, and workgroup members, advance the initiatives identified in our strategic plan, including

+ Supporting the creation of quality standards

+ Establishing a dashboard for ecosystem health, reach, and the STEM education environment

+ Building capacity and routine opportunities to facilitate the formation of new partnerships to serve more STEM learners

**Required Qualifications**

+ 3-5 years experience in program delivery, preferably with experience in systems-change and collective work

+ Commitment to building diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in St. Louis STEM-learning ecosystem

+ Understanding of the principles of collective impact and systems change and experience working with collectives

+ Experience with nonprofit communications (experience with MailChimp, Salesforce, and social media platforms preferred)

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


This position requires the ability to facilitate meetings of diverse stakeholders and move stakeholders towards a common goal; excellent written and verbal communication skills; prioritization and project-planning skills; ability to work independently; flexibility and willingness to contribute to a variety of projects.
