Description Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator for our client, a leading global computer hardware company, at their office in Research Triangle Park, NC.

This is a 3 month contract role with a tentative start date of April 2nd. The pay rate for this position is $35 per hour.

The Data Protection and Privacy DPP team is looking for an independent and highly motivated Governance Specialist, as part of the governance team reporting to the manager of Governance. Data Protection Governance focuses on data protection at enterprise level, establishing, operating and expanding the data protection operating model. Ideal candidates for this role should be highly-cross functional who have worked closely with various organizations and have a track record of successfully leading large events/programs, team/task interdependencies, timelines and budgets and overall operations.

**Role Responsibilities:**

+ Support the governance team with the implementation and operations of the data protection operating model
+ Create and manage engagement strategy, planning and logistics
+ Responsible for all aspects of event planning: identifying venues, securing vendors, determining catering needs, leading AV and room set up efforts
+ Provide briefings, develop meeting collateral, track and manage activity to remain within associated budget
+ Ongoing validation of corporate event calendar and coordination with administrative assistant
+ Excellent project management, leadership, and presentation skills, as well as the sound judgment capability required for making critical and timely decisions
+ Assist with the online presence of team initiatives/priorities/activities via Jive/other platforms
+ Consistently research data protection/privacy/security industry practices, government regulations and best practices and share with team
+ Interface with communications teams to ensure strategic alignment and messaging
+ Engage cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to orchestrate removal of roadblocks to ensure success
+ Translate strategy and high level objectives into plans, tasks and tactics
+ Establish and track event metrics to ensure return on investment
+ Capture event best practices for continuous improvement and innovation

+ Excellent project management skills - time management, organizational and planning skills
+ Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
+ Excellent follow-through, flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment, works independently
+ Ability to balance quality of work with deadlines, to identify risk issues affecting work progress and to recommend solutions
+ Excellent communications skills including strong presentation skills, PowerPoint skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
+ Can-do attitude - candidates must be willing to take on difficult issues and challenges and keep positive attitude throughout

**Term of Assignment:**

+ 3-month assignment: Tentatively scheduled to start April 9th 2018 to July 28th 2018 with _possibility_ of extension.
+ Monday – Friday, normal business hours.
