**Project Coordinator**

**Location:** San Diego, California

Kelly seeks talent passionate about sustainable energy to join biotechnology company with advanced technologies to precisely target and direct a plants natural gene-editing processes. This approach accelerates natural plant breeding that has been a staple of farming for thousands of years and has resulted in a rapid, versatile and low-cost way to produce sustainable industrial and agricultural products and improve human health by safely harnessing nature's own genetic diversity.


The ideal candidate will have a B.S degree in Math or in a technical discipline with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a research and/or development environment and demonstrated working knowledge of project coordination techniques, statistical analysis and predictions; or its equivalent. The candidate is expected to work independently with minimal supervision after the initial training is completed


+ Coordinate with various Teams to enter and maintain the Canola Research and Production Plans; Expand to other Crop Areas in the future

+ Create Reports from the Project Plans to summarize the project status with a focus on tasks & milestones that have missed deadlines; Identify Trends in timelines and summarize the details including identifying outliers and possible areas for improvement

+ Project the Quarterly, Semi-Yearly and Yearly Delivery based on historical results

+ Should be able to use the existing trackers within company to populate the Project Management Office (PMO) Plans.


+ 1 to 2 years as Project Coordinators/ Business Analysts/ Team Lead experience during School Internships or Post-School

+ Performed Statistical Trend analysis on large data sets


+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially communicating with other groups within the company.

+ Strong organizational and motivational skills, accurate record keeping, and attention to detail.

+ Able to use judgment and make routine recommendations for resolving problems in moderately complex assignments.

+ Highly proficient in MS Office Suite.

+ Ability to adapt to minor changes in routine to achieve objectives.
