**Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical)**


**Location: Bloomington IN**


**This is a 12-month Contract opportunity!**


**Hours per week: 40+**


**Payrate: $65-70/hr.**


**Summary**


The project engineer will be primarily responsible for support and development of capital projects and project studies as they may relate to site improvements for process equipment, facility and utility systems, laboratory instrumentation, computerized systems, and any other support systems associated with the site. Some project management will also be required (projects from $100k - $1.5M).



**Responsibilities**


The position will be responsible for adhering to client's internal project development framework for evaluation and

development of new project submissions, including


+ Communicating with internal stakeholders to develop project ideas into detailed project requirements

+ Obtaining/creating comprehensive cost estimates for all project

+ Creation of detailed project proposals (scope, schedule, budget)

+ Evaluation of project risk (internal and external)

+ Collaborating with multiple business groups to determine/evaluate business impact of projects


**Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Qualifications):**


+ Bachelors degree in Engineering required.

+ Minimum 5 years experience in GMP environment

+ Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software (i.e. MS Project, Primevera P6) and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: electronic document management, Trackwise, etc.)


**Other desired characteristics:**


+ Pharmaceutical engineering project management experience

+ Highly developed communication skills - this role will present to multiple audiences, and must collaborate effectively with other functional areas within the organization

+ Requires little day-to-day direction, can manage and effectively prioritize multiple ongoing tasks/goals/timelines

+ Strong technical writing experience - individual may be required to help with development and execution of User Requirement Specifications, Technical Specifications, and validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) of equipment

+ and utility systems

+ Prior experience working in aseptic manufacturing is preferred

+ Experience with Formulation/Filling, and/or Finishing/Packaging is a plus

+ Knowledge of automation systems including PLC/HMI/SCADA, and instrumentation
