PROJECT FACILITIES ENGINEER needed in Irving TX



Our client is currently looking for two Project Facilities Engineers to manage the design, fabrication, and construction of infrastructure for oil and gas production and processing facilities in Texas. Functions include project initiation/scoping definition, project justification/economics, execution planning, scheduling, cost estimating, cost monitoring/forecasting, resource vetting/forecasting/leveling, material forecasting, and document control for engineering and construction projects. Also responsible for ensuring budget and schedule goals are met to support new production.



Job Duties:




+ Utilize engineering principles, knowledge, and experience to optimize facility design, specify and select equipment, and manage construction in a timely and cost-effective manner.

+ Projects include the design, specification, and construction management of: new onshore oil and gas production facilities, existing production facility upgrades, pipeline systems, gas lift compression, onshore gathering systems, salt-water disposal facilities, and sales gas compression.

+ Project Support assist project team with design, procurement, and construction of on shore oil and gas production facilities.

+ Technical Studies - Provide technical support to various technical studies that leverages expertise and technology in critical areas of uncertainty.

+ Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures as well as HSE requirements during the planning, engineering, bidding, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up of all facilities projects.

+ Provide leadership and strategic thinking to projects including planning, cost estimating, contracting, and tracking.



Qualifications:




+ Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineer required.

+ Minimum 10 years related industry experience.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills are critical to ensure an effective working relationship within and across a multi-disciplined team environment.

+ Must be a self-starter and should have excellent communications and organizational skills, team-building know-how and project execution experience utilizing project controls systems.
