**Direct Hire Opportunity for Project Manager - Ophthalmic Imaging for Clinical Trials located in Ashtabula, Ohio. Opportunity requires being onsite with possibility of remote on** **occasion** **.**


This group is responsible for managing 80 Clinical Ophthalmology Research studies. ideal candidate would have experience in optometry, radiology of retina, experience in reviewing imaging and good with data,

Daily tasks may include meting with Vendors and Study Coordinators and capturing data from patient studies, completing data forms and auditing information and eligibility forms.


Ideal person has Clinical Ophthalmology Imaging experience with Cornea, Retinal, Diabetic, Tumor, etc. using Endothelium Microscopy and special photography instrumentation and diagnostic study texts.


Job Duties include:


+ Develop imaging manuals for ophthalmic clinical trials

+ Conduct start-up multi-center training meetings as well as one-on one trainings

+ Review certification study images, assessing photographer competence and adherence with established imaging protocols

+ Develop, implement and evaluate success of systems to monitor image quality across ongoing studies

+ Provide feedback and additional training to photographers as needed

+ Serve as team lead for the Image Quality Control Coordinators (IQCC): Develop certification review procedures, conduct training meetings and monitor IQCC activities related to accuracy and completeness

+ In collaboration with Scientific Director: Develop grading manuals for ophthalmic clinical trials. Develop semi-automated and automated analyses tools. Monitor the ophthalmic imaging environment to explore new imaging modalities, maintain currency of the reading center imaging procedures and analysis software and tools. In collaboration with scientific director, work with study sponsor and instrument vendors in developing novel imaging and analyses modalities.


Requirements include:


+ Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Imaging minimum. Preference MD or OP/MD.

+ Desires 15+ years of reading center clinical trial experience.

+ **Ophthalmic image/analysis capture experience required.**

+ **Digital image/analysis experience required.**

+ Preferred Certification includes Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA), Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC).

+ Ophthalmic clinical trials experience, ophthalmic imaging study procedure development and implementation, training and supervision experience both on a site and research team level, project coordination and management experience, ability to integrate research findings and quality; data input and word processing.

+ Ophthalmic image capture and interpretation experience and knowledge required. Clinical trial imaging certification experience required either in performing certifications and monitoring the quality of images (preferred) or as an ophthalmic photographer/imager.

+ Experience working with digital media required. In collaboration with the Medical and Scientific Directors, the imaging modalities of interest for research imaging and analysis protocol development, training, certification and quality monitoring include: Color Fundus (CF), Fluorescein Angiography (FA), Fundus Autofluorescence (FAF), Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Optical Coherence Tomography-Angiography (OCT-A), Specular Microscopy, Confocal Microscopy, Anterior Segment Photography, Slit Lamp Photography, Gonio Photography, Anterior Segment Optical Coherence Tomography (AS - OCT), Anterior Segment Optical Coherence Tomography-Angiography (ASOCT-A).
