We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

This is a long-term contract position which offers:

**TASKS.** The contractor shall:

+ Work with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Office of the Director - Bethesda (ODB) Global Environmental Health (GEH) staff on development and implementation of office projects, including input on project designs and processes.

+ Provide writing and editing support for online and other written GEH program communications materials, such as newsletters, web pages, blog posts, etc.

+ Conduct project-related activities for NIEHS GEH, including developing needed materials, power-point presentations, arranging discussions, and facilitating interactions.

+ Work with NIEHS GEH staff to ensure that project goals are accomplished, appropriate archiving and record-keeping is performed, and that efforts and tasks are carried out successfully in established time.

+ Support program evaluation efforts of the NIEHS GEH program.

+ Coordinate, conduct, and participate in important off-site meetings, conferences, and discussions, relevant to GEH project management, activities, and goals; provide notes and summaries of relevant discussions.

+ Complete progress reports, summaries, descriptions, and other materials as indicated to help ensure project timelines and appropriate communications with internal and external stakeholders.

+ Act as a liaison for NIEHS GEH with NIH, HHS, and others for identified information and support regarding specified projects.

**REQUIREMENTS.** The contractor must have:

+ Masters degree in Public Health, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline.

+ Minimum of six (6) years of related experience.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

+ Strong written communications skills and experience, including editing.

+ Strong oral communication skills and experience.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
