**Project Manager III** (1 Year Contract)
**Location:** North Chicago, IL (Remote/Hybrid)
**Salary:** $175k/Annually
Our client is looking for a **Project Manager III** whose primary focus will be to provide support to the Procure to Pay (PTP) Global Process Lead in the sub process areas of Vendor Management, SRM requesting, Receiving Goods & Services, Travel & Expense and Payables as our client moves to integrate two of their entities global processes supported by one ERP system (SAP) where legal/regulatory conditions permit. The job could require travel, if approved, to support localization and deployment activities.
**Core Job Responsibilities:**
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Support maintaining a Global standard set of E2E PTP Processes.
Support the Deployment of the their PTP back office model to their other business identified to adopt the model.
Support the identification of process improvement opportunities in the PTP process area for the combined new organisation
Drive completion and update of Business Processes Documentation for PTP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Local Variants (vDTP)
Participate in End to End Development Testing and UAT of Process and System changes
Provide guidance to the Change Management and &Training organization for the PTP process area
Provide PTP team PMO support and facilitate Area/Affiliate Governance and Local Key User meetings for Deployed sites
Support the Hypercare process for the Deployment waves and stabilize the model where deployed
**Skills/Experience Requirements:**
BA/BS in Finance or Accounting. MBA/CPA preferred.
5-8 years of progressive Accounting/Finance.
Previous SAP S/4HANA/SRM PTP experience
The ability to interact with and support senior level management and to partner effectively and independently in a matrix organization, for example with the Treasury COE, Tax COE, Global AP/AR/CTE and Accounting COE when working with the Corporate Financial Manual
Ability to drive, influence and manage change
Project Management
Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, planning and decision making skills and ability to work independently
Extensive interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a high energy level
Strong Excel/ Word, Visio and PowerPoint skills and technical and content strategy skills
Strong Documentation process and ethic for SOP and vDTP updates
The ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities under tight timeframes
A highly motivated self-starter who can translate broad directions into high quality analytical output
Open to new ideas, creative and utilizes value-added principles in approach
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Prefer experience in Treasury or Purchasing
Previous internal audit and/or SOX compliance experience is a plus
