Description **PROJECT MANAGER – Lancaster, SC**

Our client in Lancaster, SC, a highly reputable life sciences company, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their staff. In this role, this individual will be responsible for delivering every project on time, and within budget and scope, with a particular **focus on driving R&D timelines & tasks** . This person should have a background in business, management, budgeting, and analysis. This individual should also be skilled at getting the best out of the people & projects that they oversee. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Coordinate internal resources and/or third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
+ Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
+ Develop project scopes & objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
+ Ensure resource availability and allocation.
+ Develop a detailed project plan to track progress through development until product launch.
+ Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
+ Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
+ Report and escalate to management as needed.
+ Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
+ Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:**


+ **Bachelor’s degree** , preferably in **Science, Engineering, or Business Administration**
+ **5+ years** of proven professional experience in a project administrator role, ideally in the realm of **new product development**
+ Experience **driving R&D project timelines & tasks**
+ **Project Management Certification** ( **PMP** ) is preferred
+ **Solid technical background** , with understanding of, or hands-on experience in manufacturing or product development
+ Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
+ Excellent written & verbal communication skills
+ Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
+ Exp. with a project management software, such as **MS Project** , or similar software tools
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
