Kelly Services is currently seeking a Project Manager Lead - Talent & Development to remotely work a contract assignment of 8 months for one of our top clients. **Primary Responsibilities of the** Project Manager Lead -Talent & Development **includes:**

The companys Global Talent & Development Transformation Programme is a global initiative designed to modernize learning at AZ and drive a culture of lifelong learning and is now hiring for a T&D PMO Portfolio Lead. The role will report into the T&D Portfolio, Strategy Planning and Learning Transformation Programme Director and ensure that project deliverables are effectively planned, delivered against and that risk and issues are being actively managed.

The position includes ownership for identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating project and programme resources aligned to all initiatives within the T&D project portfolio. The role assumes the overarching responsibility for supporting organizational and T&D leadership in their efforts at overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire lifecycle of T&D investments and initiatives to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives.

Location of role is flexible, ideally US based (can work remotely). This is a fixed-term project role through to Dec 2021, offering an exciting opportunity to shape a culture of lifelong learning globally.

Typical Accountabilities:

Effectively manage portfolio roadmaps

o Facilitate and coordinate the efforts of T&D Leadership Team toward the establishment of demand management and strategic alignment of projects and programmes to portfolio categories and criteria, through evaluation, selection and prioritization, to execution, tracking and measuring the achieved results

o Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the projects and programmes in the portfolio and resolve or escalate conflicts

o Manage prioritization, resourcing and scheduling of learning technology requests working with business and IT. Drive vendor evaluation and selection for new solutions

Manage stakeholder relationships

Ensure governance of the project lifecycle

o Conduct regular meetings with T&D Portfolio and Strategy Planning Lead to inform and alert them of any issues arising from the performance of the individual projects within the portfolio to assure the on-plan usage and consumption of resources and funding, and to highlight any variances

o Lead reviews on significant initiatives, projects, or programmes that are a challenge and provide recommendation as to whether it should continue, be significantly changes, placed on hold or discontinued

Oversee and successfully implement portfolio of projects

o Work with project teams to manage/oversee the full range of project lifecycle (initiative, plan, execute and close) for projects covering a portfolio of T&D projects. Create strategies for risk mitigation, and formulate complex project/programme plans and schedules

Support with senior executive steering committee level presentations

Portfolio management milestone plans and resource allocation

Manage the PMO team, ensuring team resources are allocated to priorities, activities are undertaken to a high standards

Support Programme and project team members to develop business cases for new projects

In conjunction with project managers, support the practices to articulate benefits and monitoring the realization of benefits

Essential Experience:

Experience in programme/project management

Strong networking, communication and relationship-building skills, with experience of collaborating and sharing knowledge between diverse teams

Ability to interpret and communicate technical information in business language

Proven track record in delivering high-pace programmes/projects and decision making

Excellent business engagement and acumen, with sensitivity to political/economic environment

Experience of managing and controlling a budget

Experience of applying policies, procedures and guidelines within a quality and compliance environment

Experience of working within Matrix project teams, including virtual working with teams across a number of regions

Desirable Experience:

HR change programmes in a multinational environment

Agile certification/ Scrum Master certification

PRINCE2 or other project management qualification

Knowledge of JIRA, Box and/or DocuSign

Experience of working in a complex global organisation.

**Education and Experience Requirement of the** Project Manager Lead -Talent & Development **includes** :
