**Title:** Project Manager



**Location:** New Albany, OH



**Duration:** 12 months **Shift:** Monday through Friday / 40 hours a week



**Pay Rate:** $37.00 - $41.00 DOE





**Project Manager**



**Overview**




+ Support the development of Cognos dashboards for performance evaluations and work management aids.

+ Work jointly with TE coordinators to create or implement dashboards needed by the different disciplines in Transmission Engineering

+ Facilitate the development of new and/or revised processes by acting as the focus group project manager, identifying best practices, producing necessary work products, and owning the end deliverables.

+ Ensure communication across the Engineering Support Services organization, regional production teams, and the standards groups for those initiatives where you serve as the PM





**Responsibilities**




+ Coordinates work activities of others within the work group, team or those located externally including contractors, vendors as required to resolve routine technical tasks and field work activities.

+ Demonstrates working knowledge of appropriate policies, procedures and guidelines. Monitors Work and Asset Management to ensure that work is performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines.

+ Demonstrates ability to work beyond routine assignments by solving moderately complex problems. Works independently in resolving complex problems.

+ Participates in providing training, performance improvements for projects and activities of lower level employees or peers.

+ Develops and maintains rapport to assure cooperation and productive working relationships with customers.

+ Demonstrates the ability to work beyond routine assignments by solving problems of moderate complexity.

+ Effectively manages conflict and builds consensus for agreement concerning business and/or work issues.

+ Clearly and concisely develops and presents or reviews reports with customers as needed.

+ Initiates, leads and facilitates meetings effectively.

+ Provides input to routine project planning and schedule. Understands the use of scheduling techniques for budget and planning activities. Assist in the planning of outages/projects/assignments.

+ Assists in evaluating contracting methods, reviewing drawings and preparing basic cost estimates using established standards.

+ Create or revise current business work products including process documents, process flows, meeting minutes, performance reports, team status reports, and internal and external communications.





**Required Qualifications**




+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge.

+ Experience producing canned or complex ad-hoc reports accompanied by analysis

+ Experience with root cause analysis, document control, change management best practices

+ Experience with Data analytics, process creation and documentation

+ Business analysis identifying a problem or opportunity and then eliciting, analyzing, and tracking requirements along with a closeout evaluation

+ Previous utility experience is a plus





**Technical Skills Preferred**




+ Cognos / Tableau / DOMO or other BI Technology

+ IBM Maximo Asset Management

+ Microsoft Office

+ Primavera P6

+ SharePoint

+ PMI-PMP, PMI-PBA, Sig Sigma black belt, or Lean certification a plus





**Education Requirements**




+ Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited university **AND** 4 years experience

+ Will consider an Associates technical degree **AND** 6 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
