**Project Manager, Preclinical, Clinical and Medical**


**Job Description**


The Project Manager, Preclinical, Clinical and Medical (PCM) is responsible for creating a roadmap of all Clinical and Medical activities related to Evidence Generation. The PCM teams' responsibilities encompass Evidence Scans, Clinical Trial Design and Execution, Investigator Initiated Studies, Data Use Agreements, Collaborative Studies and publications. Key success metrics for this role are establishing key metrics and milestones for various activities that should be tracked, creating a roadmap of all Evidence Generation related PCM activities and creating a monthly report for PCM.


**Key Responsibilities:**


+ Support PCM organization in creating a roadmap and overview of all critical activities

+ In consultation with the PCM Clinical team (including Franchise Clinical, Clinical Operations and Biometrics), establish key metrics for different Evidence Generation activities that should be tracked

+ Develop project plans, and then drive delivery of the project plan to achieve business results

+ Develop, manage, and maintain up-to-date Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments, and resource constraints, while applying appropriate project scheduling techniques

+ Monitor project status and execution; report timely updates via Project Templates, Project Dashboards and Update Forms; and develop agendas, minutes, metrics, etc. for the teams

+ Provide direct communication to management on progress, opportunities, and issues

+ Lead the effort across the Clinical Team to generate information from relevant stakeholders to create project plans and roadmaps

+ Track team delivery on commitments using project plans, Gantt charts, burndown charts and other visual methods and track team velocity and other performance metrics to ensure accuracy of future planning.

+ Empower teams to self-organize and facilitate continuous improvement activities through retrospectives

+ Identifies options and negotiates effectively using pros and cons of different alternatives to stakeholders


**Qualifications**


+ Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, marketing, general business required

+ Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience required

+ Requires minimum 2 years in a Project Management role, or Project Management Certified with demonstrated project-related experience

+ Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) required; Write or SmartSheet preferred

+ Strong communication and interpersonal and skills and an ability to work effectively with teams

+ Project Management Certification (e.g., FPX, PMP) preferred

+ Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry clinical research experience preferred
