**Title:** Project Manager



**Salary:** $90k - $110k/yr



**Job Purpose:**



The Project Manager (PM) is primarily responsible for supporting the Project Management Office. The PM will assist in developing relationships with a portfolio of clients, connect with day-to-day stakeholders, and develop an understanding of customer business requirements and objectives.





**Responsibilities:**



Primary client contact. Provides direct oversight and drives deliverables for all location-based clients.



Manage projects to support the development and commercialization of cellular therapies through customized services such as product development, technology transfer, validation, product manufacturing, distribution, storage and transportation.



Organize and lead all project & client communications/meetings, including recording meeting minutes, tracking action items, preparing meeting agendas, coordinating client and internal team activities and disseminating project information.



Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all project stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.



Understand a project's scope through internal collaboration with Sales as well as thorough review of legal client services agreements.



Manage multiple cross-functional project teams simultaneously and reporting project status to Executive Management and Functional Leaders.



Ensure team members understand project objectives, specifications, deliverables, timelines and tasks through ongoing clear, concise communication & motivation of project team members.



Monitor assigned projects to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget ("Triple Constraints").



Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project budget using appropriate verification techniques.



Prepare presentation materials and facilitate project kick-off meetings internally as well as with clients; communicate individual roles, project expectations, and ensure that all project team members have the tools required to perform effectively.



Create client-facing documents for the project's requirements; Gantt charts, project charters, communication plans, governance plans, dashboards, various memos.



Establish, track and manage project schedule/critical path activities, status reporting, and resource plan development to ensure projects are completed on time, on-schedule and within budget.



Develop detailed project plans (Gantt charts) that ensure optimal quality and feasible schedule for all functional groups.



Create and maintain a comprehensive project-related documentation repository (i.e., SharePoint).



Create internal documents reports; additional service requests, risk management, hours analysis, monthly production and production forecast.



Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long- term goals.



Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.



Analyze projects to identify all risks and prepare risk mitigation strategies.



Monitor projects on an ongoing basis; evaluating progress and quality, adherence to scope, timelines, budget, managing issue resolution, and taking corrective action as necessary.



Manage project resources efficiently and assist internal teams to accommodate all requests from project team members.



Document all records of issues in projects and monitor projects to ensure alignment to all project goals; identify all potential issues and assist in resolution.



Organize and facilitate various meetings with internal and external project team members to achieve deliverables.



Participate in all weekly client meetings and monitor all activities of internal team members as they relate to contract deliverables.



Create, track and trend KPI metrics and communicate metric results and project summaries to executive management



Work with Production Planner to implement resourcing strategies for incoming projects and ensure personnel workforce coverage.



Continuously develop additional tools and refine processes to facilitate project performance.



Coordinate schedule of all additional activities related to the project as it progresses.



Coordinate with other departments for understanding raw material requirements, testing requirements, documentation requirements, validation & maintenance requirements, and scheduling.



Build constructive and effective relationships with colleagues by solving problems and working through issues as a team.



Provide direct input into corporate strategic planning, development management processes, and project management from conception through development cycle.



Work closely with site Operations and Quality management to manage and prioritize the production schedule as it relates client deliverables and deadlines.



Oversee project execution efforts for strategic programs and projects (internal projects).



Perform other Project Management-related duties as assigned.





**Knowledge & Experience:**



Bachelor's degree {Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering preferred) from an accredited college/university.



Excellent academic record.



Minimum 3+ years relevant experience as a project manager leading multi-disciplinary project teams.



Minimum 2+ years of account management experience.



Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience or equivalent combination of management experience.



Relevant experience in biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical or medically related field is preferred.



Proficiency in project management principles, practices, and tools such as MS Project (Gantt charts) is required



Project Management Professional {PMP) certification is a plus



Experience with the preparation of reports and/or presentations/communications via presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Project Dashboards and written reports



Good understanding of what drives resource requirements.



Experience in successfully coordinating across several complex functions to ensure comprehensive and consistent planning.



Use and continually develop leadership skills
