Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Planner for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Jacksonville, FL. This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a KellyOCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. As a Planner placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:


+ External Manufacturing (EM) Planner will be the point of contact for day to day operations and communication with the external manufacturer(s) and the internal operations team.

+ Coordinate new repackaging SKUs/packsizes reprocessed at the external manufacturer and provide suppliers with full visibility of the plans for the coming weeks.

+ Participate in the weekly SRTs with external manufacturer and operations functions stakeholders.

+ Liaison with external suppliers transporting materials to and from the external sites, monitoring production/repackaging, synchronizing demand & supply and reviewing key performance indicators.

+ Responsible for ensuring on-time & full availability of products to market and customers.

+ Responsible for managing the capacity and strategic outlook of the external manufacturing sites.


Essential Functions:


+ Manage external production for third party logistic partners (3PL) to meet customer service goals, optimize capacity, and meet production requirements.

+ Contribute to key performance indicators such as on time in full, inventory days of supply (DOS), and SLOB levels, On Time Shipment

+ Manage long term planning & capacity for 3PLs and participate in supplier reliability meetings

+ Analyze planning data needed for cross-functional projects.

+ Support 3PL line validations, process implementation, analysis, process improvement, etc.

+ Work closely with internal customers such as, but not limited to Production Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing & QA to support External Manufacturing

+ Manage relationship & communication with external manufacturing suppliers

+ Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


Minimum Education and experience:


+ Bachelors Degree - Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Engineering related field

+ 3+ years of business experience in Supply Chain & Logistics, with healthcare industry experience preferred

+ 2+ years of cumulative experience in one or more of the following functions (Manufacturing, engineering, new product management, planning, or other supply chain disciplines.

+ Demonstrated ability in logistics and analytics.

+ APICS certification preferred, but not required

+ Demonstrated Leadership skills with strong communication skills.

+ Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred

+ Knowledge of and extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically, Excel and Access) strongly preferred
