We are currently seeking a Public Health (Epidemiology) Program Analyst to work with the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, MD.

This is a long-term contract position which offers:

**TASKS/SERVICES** : The contractor shall:

(1) Advise senior project staff on study decisions; troubleshoot issues; analyze study goals, timeline, planning and progress.

(2) Draft, edit, and finalize study management charts; develop guidelines for proposal review and approval processes.

(3) Lead review of relevant workgroup materials; coordinate feedback across team and collaborators within the project; guide revisions.

(4) Develop and track study presentations to internal audiences and to the public.

(5) Manage public inquiries resulting from scientific presentations; draft and/or triage responses.

(6) Organize and collaborate on relevant research publications.

(7) Maintain a resource library and keep the team abreast of recent research findings.

(8) Perform first pass reading, tracking and evaluating of deliverables.

(9) Conduct relevant literature reviews.

(10) Update and maintain schedules and calendars; decide for meetings, including room and audiovisual requirements; prepare agendas.

(11) Work with staff on project management, resource and budgeting oversight.

(12) Collect data; work with staff to analyze and interpret results.

(13) Prepare summaries and reports for staff review.

**REQUIREMENTS** : The contractor ideally would have:

(1) Masters degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related discipline; three (3) years of specialized experience plus a BA/BS degree is equivalent to a Masters degree.

(2) Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience working on public health research projects including the management of research project products such as publications and presentations.

(3) Experience analyzing large datasets using SAS, SPSS, R, and/or Mplus is a plus

(4) Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

(5) Strong communications skills, both oral and written.

(6) Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
