Kelly Services is currently hiring a Public Health Liaison. The purpose of this position is to organize and coordinate the department's public health planning activities including all hazards planning, emergency response, infectious disease investigations, and community outreach. Hours are Monday-Friday day shift. Pay rate is $20 per hour. Please send resume to Tim Jolly at

**Duties will include:**

+ Conduct outreach activities including critical incident exercise planning, training and evaluation of protocols;

+ Assist with the coordination of local all-hazards response planning and implementation of preparedness and response activities and exercises;

+ Provide technical guidance to local stakeholders (hospitals, long-term care facilities, etc.) on all aspects of public health emergency preparedness;

+ Assist with disease surveillance activities including patient interviews, medical chart abstraction, and patient and provider education;

+ Develop educational materials related to public health emergency preparedness and other public health topics (fact sheets, brochures, newsletters, etc.);

+ Assist in collecting, organizing and analyzing public health data and reports;

+ Prepare written reports, oral briefings and other programmatic documents;

+ Provide input into the preparation of PHEP grant, assists with proposals, budgets and reports;

+ Assist in departmental administrative tasks as assigned;

+ Perform job duties in a way that promotes a positive image and delivers exemplary customer service skills;

+ Perform work during emergency, disaster or communicable disease incidents 24/7 as required;


Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Biology, Microbiology, Emergency Management or related field and two to four years of experience in public health, public health preparedness or related work.

Master's degree in Public Health preferred.

**Knowledge and Abilities:**

+ Public health generally accepted and commonly used principles, theories, methodology and precedents;

+ Resources in the field of public health and communicable diseases;

+ Fluent utilization of MS Office Suite with proficiency in Excel.

+ Research design, statistical analysis and methods, qualitative and quantitative measures.
