**Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin**


**Direct Hire**


Working as part of the Quality team and under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the QA/QC Manager will work with quality department and operations to build high-performing teams to meet operational plans, customer expectations, and regulatory compliance.


**Responsibilities:**


Manage 5-10 quality team members -- set clear goals, measure progress, coach, and provide feedback

Work closely with operations leadership to ensure quality processes support business initiatives

Assist in building and maintaining CFR Part 111 and CFR-Part 117 Compliance Protocols

Maintain programs in conjunction with other departments to ensure quality and regulatory compliance (i.e. QC testing guidelines, GMPs, CAPA, SOPs, inspection & reporting framework)


Provide guidance and feedback to the production team, ensuring all employees are trained, understand, and follow GMPs and food safety practices


Create and maintain the Data Quality Management System (DQMS), ensuring documents and records containing quality data are completed including accurate product specification sheets (i.e. SDS, COA, Formulas)


Assist in maintaining compliance to FSMA, 3rd party certifications (i.e. BRC, Kosher, Non-GMO, Gluten Free), and any customer specific requirements


Support all communication with regulatory agencies (i.e. FDA, USDA, CBP, ICE)

Assist in developing policies, procedures, and systems for the management of internal and external audits. Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance to procedures


Oversee finished product testing and environmental programs including issuing investigations and follow-up

Coordinate nonconformance investigations including root cause analyses. Contribute to generation of data, reporting, and evaluation of quality-related trends


Attend regular meetings with the Quality Team and Management to ensure good practice, supported by cooperative relationships and effective communication


Review quality outputs for compliance to internal and external requirements (21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 117, etc.)

Develop and implement quality-related SOPs and forms

Develop and manage internal document control system

Coordinate investigation of customer complaints.

Coordinate environmental monitoring program

Maintain Training Program & training records


**Qualifications:**


Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, preferably Biology or Chemistry

2-4 years of experience in a high-speed food or beverage manufacturing environment

2+ years of experience leading a team of people

Knowledge of dietary supplements and FDA Code and Regulations, specifically CFR 21 Part 111

PCQI certification, HACCP certification or relevant experience in developing and maintaining HACCP programs preferred


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Effective word processing skills

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment

Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills are essential
