**QC Chemistry Supervisor**
**Summary**
In this critical leadership role, you will interpret and apply regulatory guidance and industry standards in the QC chemistry department. You will supervise and lead QC chemists to ensure accurate, reproducible, and timely QC testing in support of manufacturing and ensure chemistry test methods are accurate, precise, reproducible, and compliant with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
**Responsibilities:**
All chemistry testing to support in-process product, final product, raw materials, and water for routine testing, validation testing, and stability testing
Meeting batch release criteria
Managing resources required to test products in accordance with client requirements in a cost-effective manner
Managing continuous improvement programs for chemistry test methods and procedures
Serving as the QC chemistry representative in support of external customer relationships and internal and external audits
Leading and develop QC staff and serving as an expert resource for the analysts and technicians
Ensuring staff is trained and proficient on chemistry methods QC analytical instrumentation
Leading investigations and method improvements within the laboratory
**Qualifications:**
8+ years' experience in lab applications in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry with 3+ years in a leadership role
5+ years' experience in chemical lab applications in a GMP environment
5+ years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role
Hands on experience in quality control testing and/or troubleshooting out of specification results
Expertise with one or more of the following: HPLC, GC, rheology, spectroscopy, or light scattering instrumentation
Extensive experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO requirements.
Regulated audit experience
Strong leadership skills
