**JOB DUTIES**


+ Visually, dimensionally, mechanically and electronically perform inspections on all product lines of therapeutic and diagnostic catheters including products assembled with electronic components for conformance to specifications by examining random samples
+ Utilize computerized equipment and software (MS Excel, Word, etc) in the preparation of charts and reports
+ Use FDA GMP’s /ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 to assess and ensure compliance of processes and specifications
+ Review quality inspection testing and test data. Keep Team Lead informed of activities and issues of the quality group.
+ Generate nonconformance reports and assists in investigation, final disposition and corrective action as necessary
+ Collect data, enter and analyze data within the data management system (e.g. JDE).
+ Work with production supervisors, manufacturing engineers, R&D engineers and quality engineers to assist in the resolution of quality issues
+ Support production by coordinating or performing material/product testing, provide input in writing/modifying QC production documentation
**QUALIFICATIONS**


+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Minimum 2 years related quality or manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
+ GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerance) experience
+ Must be familiar with test and inspection equipment (calipers, height gages, pin gages, optical measurement system, vision system, etc.
+ Understand the manufacturing process and Quality functions as well as the required documentation processes for each.
+ Have experience and understanding of the corrective and preventive action process and process of investigating non-conformances, identifying root cause and recommending actions. Be familiar with non-conformance documentation system (i.e., NCR/QNC)
+ Demonstrated attention-to-detail, problem solving, and the ability to multi-task
+ Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to use various test and inspection equipment
+ Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English, and record results accurately.
+ Must have computer knowledge including MS Word, Excel, email and computerized data bases.
+ Must be able to maintain good relationships with co-workers and demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.
