Kelly Scientific is seeking a **_QC Lab Technician_** near Pewaukee, WI.
**Temp to Hire**
**Shift:** 6am-3:30pm
**Compensation:** $20-$25 based on experience
**Responsibilities:**
Monitor product specifications for viscosity, gloss, color, density, resistance, etc. by performing defined tests to evaluate product properties and characteristics
Utilizes appropriate computer systems to ensure effective testing of products
Make decisions concerning the inspection status and/or adjustments of products or batches according to prescribed instructions and procedures
Retain batch records for historical reference
Perform QC tests on raw materials to make sure they meet the Certificate of Analysis
Communicate effectively with management and production departments to address any quality issues that are identified
Develop effective solutions to address product non-conformance
Carefully prepare and maintain all quality control documentation
Work with management to identify areas for improvement in quality control and production processes
Creates, maintains, and updates standard operating procedures for Quality Department to meet requirements
Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of work area
Follow all regulations & guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree within a related field is preferred
Min. of 3 years of quality control experience may be substituted for education
Experience working in a laboratory a plus
Proficient in formulaic math
Must have a good eye for color
Experience using spray guns, spectrophotometer, glossometer, Hegman grind bar, UV curing machine, and viscometers a plus
