We are currently seeking a Scientific Program Manager with Quality Assurance experience to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS: The contractor shall:

+ Generate quarterly and annual reports and present at staff meetings.

+ Hold bimonthly quality assurance staff meetings to educate and improve staff compliance and show quality indicator metrics.

+ Exceptional ability in developing and implementing quality control reporting systems.

+ Oversee the SOP management to include annual reviews, archiving maintains up to date lists and schedules of review and ensuring that all appropriate personnel had read and understood the SOPs.

+ Maintain and oversee all master document inventories, word documents and drafts with the Quality Systems Specialist.

+ Perform or delegate laboratory equipment control documentation and schedule necessary/routine preventative maintenance.

+ Assist with competency and proficiency assessment for all laboratory staff and maintain schedule and documentation for individuals performance.

+ Oversee and work with the Quality Systems Specialist concerning QA and QC activities.

+ Experience in a GLP, GCLP, cGMP, laboratory.

+ Proficient in a diverse set of clinical research techniques such as;
- Immunoassay methodology - ELISA ADA
- Pseudovirus neutralization assay
- Elispot Assays
- Flow cytometry

+ Experience with automated systems such as liquid handlers and high-throughput robotic instruments.

+ Proficient in Microsoft work, PowerPoint ,Prismand and Excel.

REQUIREMENTS: The contractor must have:

+ Minimum of Bachelors degree in Biology, Life Sciences or other related discipline.

+ Extensive knowledge of GCP, GCLP, GLP, cGMP, or accredited environment.

+ Knowledge and experience with different quality management systems in a clinical research and development environment.

+ Hands on experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic data management systems (SOPs control) is preferred but not required.

+ Ability to write SOPs, training plans, monthly Quality Control checks.

+ Use the existing Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) to assess and monitor quality improvement in the laboratory.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced research and development environment that requires adherence to internal and external deadlines.
