**Pay rate $16-18 per hour**

The Quality Assurance Associate is Responsible for ensuring company products follow internal and external specifications by performing a variety of routine and non-routine inspections and evaluations. Ensures compliance to policies, procedures, GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) requirements of documentation for product release.


+ Conduct technical quality assurance inspections

+ Perform tests/inspections and analyze to assure that products comply with established specifications.

+ Enters data into log books or computer databases.

+ Complete record of inspection results, acceptance and rejection

+ Accurately and completely document required information in lot history records and device history records

+ Assembles and tests medical devices, per documented work instructions. Activities include, but are not limited to, assembly and soldering of small components.

+ Pick and distribute material, supplies and subassemblies to work areas, as directed Reject product outside of specifications. Troubleshoot and repair failures as needed. Clean and maintain work areas

+ Understand and comply with Quality Management System

+ Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

+ Perform assembly activities per documented Work Instructions.

+ Perform quality inspection activities in areas trained in and authorized to do so

+ Communicate with employees at all levels as needed

+ Ensure calibration and preventative maintenance actives for production/lab equipment as directed

+ Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

+ Technicians will be required to develop skills in the specific areas noted above as business conditions dictate, per agreement with their supervisor, in their development plan.


+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ 2 year (or more) technical degree in electronics or equivalent (desired)

+ Generally, requires 2-4 Years Work Experience

+ Certification in soldering desired

+ Demonstrated ability to perform assembly of small components following detailed work instructions.

+ Ability to work under a microscope

+ Ability to life and carry up to 25 pounds for short periods of time

+ Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours per day

+ Ability to bend, kneel, reach and move around the production floor
