**Quality Assurance Manager - Santa Monica, CA**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to work with one of our top clients in Santa Monica, CA whose focus is on the agricultural crop field!

**Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager** will support the implementation of quality systems, manage daily QA activities for different product lines, and support with supplier qualification of all contract manufacturers and contract laboratories.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Approve critical raw materials prior to production use.

+ Approve/release finished products manufactured by different contract manufacturers.

+ Work closely with multiple contract manufacturers to ensure the product is manufactured meeting standards.

+ Qualify suppliers via supplier questionnaires and/or perform an on-site audit.

+ Work with different teams/product leads to ensure appropriate specifications/procedures/processes are implemented.

+ Provide QA support and approve OQs (operational qualifications) & PQs (performance qualifications).

+ Review/issue certificate of analysis (CoA) for different product lines.

+ Supports R&D, Regulatory team, and outside contract manufacturing organizations as products are commercialized to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

+ Supports the Regulatory Team in the preparation and review of data for regulatory submissions including material specifications and process descriptions.

+ Review and update SOPs, specifications, forms, etc. to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Manage the Change Control system and ensure all changes are implemented in a timely manner.

+ Perform training as necessary.

+ Manage customer complaints and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Masters of Science in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related fields.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager in a regulated industry.

+ Working knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements.

+ Experience with regulatory inspections.

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Manage priorities and ensure deadlines/timelines are met.

+ Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with teams, peers, management, and external contacts.

+ Prior experience operating in a regulated industry and managing change control programs. Broad knowledge of quality systems utilized in pesticides.

+ Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.

+ Self-starter and a quick learner

+ Able to work on occasional weekends and evenings

+ Able to travel to support global commercial activities

+ Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes chemists, engineers, sales representatives

+ Excellent English proficiency (both written and oral communication) and personal interaction skills

+ Working conditions will include office, chemical laboratory, pilot plant, and commercial facilities and will involve the use of hazardous chemicals; a good understanding of maintaining personal safety is essential.
