Description Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a Quality Control Analyst for one of our top clients in Houston, TX.

As a Quality Control Analyst, you will support the Quality Control, Environmental Monitoring team in maintaining the cleanrooms for commercial manufacture for both At Rest and In Operation conditions. This role will also be central in all assays associated with microbiology and integral with environmental investigations, excursion report writing, and general upkeep of the micro department.

**Essential Job Functions**


+ Performance of environmental monitoring. Level 3 gowning qualification is required. There will be events where many hours within the cleanroom at level 3 gowning is required. Work hours may vary dependent on the demands of individual manufacture events.
+ Initially will be responsible for the performance qualifications of the cleanrooms.
+ Performance of microbiological assays for media and product release, and coordination of microorganism identifications. Assist with the maintenance of laboratory/ media supplies and equipment.
+ Writes reports and performs investigations for environmental excursions; assist and write standard operational procedures, trend reports, deviations, and corrective actions.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications/Skills**


+ Bachelors of Science/Arts in a biologic area of study required.
+ One to 2 years of experience performing related tasks.
+ None
+ Demonstrated knowledge in general laboratory skills and microbiological assays, environmental monitoring, and aseptic processing. Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP.
+ Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral. In addition, must have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
+ Must have strong organizational skills and able to schedule and prioritize tasks, including the ability to follow assignments through to completion and meet deadlines.
+ Best qualities are a can-do persona with good inter-personal skills and a high sense of personal responsibility for the job role.
This is a contract-to hire role.

Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with occasional weekend and extended work hours.
