Description Kelly Scientific Resources is in search of multiple **Quality Control Associates** to join a biotech company located in **Bothell, WA** . The Quality Control Associate will be to perform GMP testing and environmental monitoring to support lot release and in-process testing.

**This is a 1 year contract position. This position will be 4- 10 hour shifts. (Wed-Sat, or Sun-Wed)**

**Job Responsibilities**

• Perform GMP lot release and in-process testing for microbiology based methods such as growth promotion, gram stain, rapid sterility, and endotoxin
• Perform environmental monitoring (EM) activities such as collecting viable air, viable surface, and non-viable air
• EM plate reading, sub-culturing, and Identification submission
• EM data review and trend analysis
• Perform Growth Promotion and Qualification of Challenge Organisms
• Water Sampling and Testing by membrane filtration
• Gas sampling (Viable and Non-Viable)
• Train and provide technical assistance and guidance to other staff members
• Maintain instrumentation and supporting documentation in a GMP compliant manner.
• Assist in the implementation of new assay methodologies and associated instrumentation.
• Author test methods and SOPs.

**Qualifications**


+ BS in a scientific discipline with relevant industrial or QC experience
+ Ability to work in a high paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects
+ Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others
+ Excellent aseptic practices and understanding of clean room environments
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills
**Preferred**


+ Strong technical writing skills, experience with writing deviations, corrective actions, protocols, reports, and procedures
+ Candidates with prior experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment, experience with EM data review, previous lab experience, especially in a microbiology setting
