**Quality Control Technician II (QC Tech II) --- Tualatin**

The Quality Control Technician II is responsible for performing acceptance activities for incoming materials, in-process product inspection, and final inspection of finished goods. They are review and maintain inspection documents and Device History Records and maintain inspection trending data. The QC Tech II also assist the Quality Assurance department with document updates and review, training, and process improvements as needed.


+ Monday - Friday

+ First shift (flexible start time between 4am 8am)

+ Temp-to-Hire

+ $22-$26/hr


+ Inspect and/or test incoming materials by conducting visual inspection or measurement tests.

+ Perform in-process and final product inspection to established specifications.

+ Utilize inspection equipment including but not limited to: optical comparator, tensile testing equipment, calipers, scales, rulers, and go-no go gauges.

+ Review incoming documentation from suppliers and compare to current product specifications.

+ Perform inspections of labeling, packaging, and manufacturing documentation.

+ Document, log, review, and maintain inspection results and files for incoming materials.

+ Perform label control activities such as printing of labels, label inspection, labeling line clearance, issuing labels, and label reconciliation.

+ Assemble Device History Records and review for accuracy and completeness.

+ Maintain segregation of incoming, conforming, and non-conforming material and assisting with investigations for Non-Conforming Material Records (NCMRs).

+ Assist with First Article Inspections and Validations/Qualifications of processes and equipment.

+ Assist in the development of inspection procedures, test methods, and process improvements.

+ Assists in writing and revising quality system documents, as needed.

+ Work directly with Shipping and Receiving to coordinate movement of materials into and out of QC and testing areas.

+ Comply with established quality, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


+ Minimum of 2 years of QC experience working in a regulated industry with a high school diploma (or GED), a 4-year Degree in a related field, or a combination of QC experience and training needed to fulfil job duties.

+ Experience using inspection, measurement, and test equipment such as calipers, scales, and tensile testers.

+ Must have excellent attention to detail to identify defects or deviations from established specifications.

+ Possess an understanding of measurement tolerances and ability to determine inspection or test sample size.

+ Ability to effectively communicate quality issues found during manufacturing to the Production Lead or Supervisor.

+ Able to use inspection, test and measurement equipment with accuracy and precision.

+ Basic math and computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat

+ Ability to stand, sit, and conduct repetitive movement for long periods at a time.

+ Able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically and 25 lbs. routinely.

+ Experience with inspection sampling plans a plus.

+ Ability to read engineering drawings a plus.

+ Basic technical writing skills a plus.
