Description Kelly Services is currently looking to hire Quality Control Inspectors to work for one of our top Medical Device clients in Irwindale, CA

**Important information:** This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

**Quality Control (QC) Inspector/Medical Device** : Components & Raw Materials

This position will be responsible for performing routine inspection activities including, but not limited to, raw material control, components inspection, product evaluation, analytical assays, validation analysis, and special projects as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Contribute to improvements in the lab through participation in continuous improvement process including:

Visually, dimensionally, mechanically and electrically performing inspections on all product lines, including products assembled with electronic Components for conformance to specifications by examining random samples.

Working with and interpreting detailed dimensional and functional specifications, engineering changes, inspection methods, and related documentation and equipment in support of and to perform quality inspection functions.

Interfacing with engineering, production and R&D personnel by identifying problems and offering solutions to simple engineering problems.

**Major duties/responsibilities:**

Manual ability and visual coordination to use microscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gages and gage blocks.

Perform dimensional and visual inspection of assigned raw materials and components per approved procedures/inspection plans.

Documents all inspection / test results and any non-conformances found during inspection, testing or evaluations according to approved procedures/inspection plans.

Maintain knowledge of all procedures, change to specifications and applicable regulations and standards related to areas of responsibilities.

Review inspection/test results; provide feedback to engineers and quality technicians.

Perform final review of Device History Records DHR for finished product release.

Performs disposition of raw materials and components.

Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

For this position, we require: PC Literacy and use of Microsoft office.
