As a member the Quality team, the Temporary Quality Inspector supports Quality and Manufacturing operations by inspecting incoming materials to ensure that they meet production standards. These tasks require the timely communication of testing results and activities to ensure the continual quality of items in production.



**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**



Quality Assurance Inspection




1. Ensure materials used in production meet specifications using the necessary tools available.

2. Audit materials and create reports.

3. Fully define the defect and include all information including sample jobs and images when applicable.

4. Maintain all Quality Test lab and manufacturing work cell equipment and ensure proper working order.



Quality Procedures




1. Support the quality assurance procedures per ISO 9000 standards.

2. Assist with the resolution of product quality corrective and preventative actions.

3. Apply basic knowledge of software programs, and hardware trouble shooting to support the Lean manufacturing work cell continual improvement process.

4. Work closely with Manufacturing, Applications, Design Engineering, and others on the Quality team to continually improve processes.

5. Support colleagues within Quality and Manufacturing operations as a knowledge professional for inspection

**QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE**



Basic Qualifications




1. A two-year technical degree or the equivalent training and certifications

2. Two years of relevant experience in high-tech electronics manufacturing with specific experience in quality control inspection.

3. Proven complete understanding of GD&T

4. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deal effectively with conflicting priorities

5. Demonstrated ability to read both electrical and mechanical drawings

6. Documented ability to understand and follow technical instructions drafted in English for testing or repairing electronic equipment.

7. Demonstrated ability to work with delicate technical components in a manner that promotes safety and results in a high-quality product

8. Proven competence in operating DMMs, power supplies, hand tools, and various test equipment

1. Documented project management and time management skills





**ESSENTIAL MENTAL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

1. Ability to sit, stand, walk, crouch and bend for up to eight hours a day.

2. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

3. Extensive use of hands in writing, assembling electronic components and the use of a computer

4. Ability to effectively communicate in person and through emails

5. Ability to read, analyze and interpret assembly instructions

6. Ability to write reports and simple correspondence

7. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and fractions.

8. Ability to interpret and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists
