**Shift:** 8AM - 4:20PM Monday - Friday


**Pay Rate:** $17.50 - $19 per hour


**Temporary Assignment:** Ends April 2022


**Department/Team Description:**

This skilled inspection position is focused on quality acceptance of incoming raw material receipts for the use in high quality medical devices in a Sterile Disposables or

Electro-Mechanical production environment.


**Position Summary:**

The position exists to ensure the quality of sterile disposable and electro-mechanical products via inspection processes to verify suppliers meet specified requirements. The role assists with the establishment of inspection plans, procedures, quality issues, and the rejection / acceptance criteria for material or products.


**Position Duties and Responsibilities**

Examine components sub-assemblies & assemblies to ensure compliance to requirements as specified on drawings, specification sheets, part masters, and inspection plans.

Established communication skills with the ability to utilize applicable terminology. Interpersonal skills to interact professionally and constructive with the lead, supervisor and coworkers to enhance teamwork and to foster positive working relationships.

Works with team members, supervisor and/or engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggests improvements

Ability to read and comprehend both written and visual work instructions.

This position maintains quality control responsibilities within the production environment and must be able to interpret and apply policies and procedures to support Supervisor/Group Lead/Process Coordinator with training needs.

Accurately fill out inspection documentation: Receiving Inspection documentation, QM module, SAP (transactions), Data Base entries, Assembly travelers, Material Disposition Forms, filing, paper copies,etc.

Complete system transactions (SAP, QM) associated with the inspection, evaluate, Document, and Disposition rejected material, returned goods/hospital returns and data collection.

Ability to operate various measurement testing equipment and utilize tools for the purpose of accepting product.

Performing Quality Control measurements and functions.

Support New product Builds


**Requirements:**


Basic math and measurement skills, manual dexterity for inspection of very small parts, detail oriented to complete paperwork, ability interpret procedures, follow direction and execute processes.

High school diploma or GED

Specific /accurate data entry

Ability to work independently with little direction on day-to-day decisions and work direction

1 -3 Years Medical device assembly, mechanical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, or equipment operation.

Basic mechanical assembly and inspection skills, preferably in an FDA regulated industry.

Basic math and measurement skills, manual dexterity for inspection of very small parts, detail oriented to complete paperwork, ability interpret procedures, follow direction and execute processes.

Ability to read and comprehend both written and visual work instructions.

Maintains quality control responsibilities within the production environment and must be able to interpret and apply policies and procedures.

Ability to operate various measurement testing equipment and utilize tools for the purpose of accepting product.


**Preferences:**


+ At least 1 year of incoming inspection experience preferred
