Kelly is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for one of our amazing clients in Southeast Texas. This is a Full-time permanent position. As a member of the Quality and Site Operations, this position is responsible for supporting both local site and GBU processes for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. Ideal candidates will be well versed in Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 and will have experience running a lab.

**Responsibilities Accountabilities**

+ Manages and directs the operation of the Quality department at the Orange facility

+ Provide support in production department to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems involved with day-to-day operations to help drive quality improvement.

+ Manage the definition, implementation, and follow-up of quality processes for ongoing operations, including preparing and reviewing process overviews, procedures, and work instructions.

+ Develop and maintain documentation about the ongoing Quality processes and project tracking at the facility.

+ Lead customer complaint investigations using established problem-solving methodologies and implementing CAPA.

+ Analyze, in collaboration with HSE, RD&T and Quality/ L6S groups, incidents with respect to production and quality to identify root cause s and take effective corrective actions.

+ Support laboratory functions with method development, equipment repair, SPC and training.

+ Follow up technological developments within own domain of expertise through a network of technological informants like, RD&T, Transversal Functions and Quality group

+ Collaborate with RD&T to introduce new products in the unit, including manufacturing specifications for RD&T projects, preparation and follow up of industrial trials

+ Assist with preparation and delivery, of technical training for employees

+ Provide support in development of budget proposals, effective implementation upon approval.

+ Internal / External Audit Administration Lead Internal Auditor for the Site related to ISO 9001

+ Ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality Management System ISO9001

+ Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised by certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.

+ Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address nonconformities found

+ Conduct/Lead or Participate in supplier audits as necessary

+ Coordinate and facilitate onsite Management

+ Review and facilitate other Risk Indicator Reviews as necessary, either within the site or the GBU.

+ Responsible for Process Capability measurement implementation, periodic monitoring and addressing deviations needing actions

+ Accountable for implementation of FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, SQC as applicable for products at site

+ Represent Quality management from site with active participation and deliverables related to Operations, Process Improvements and Quality Function Network meetings

+ Actively engage in implementing and sustaining GBU wide Quality initiatives/programs linked to site.

+ Define, implement, and improve applicable laboratory procedures and techniques for the site

+ Communicate necessary inputs and recommendations related to the test results to internal customers in a timely manner

+ Implementation of Gauge R&R of test parameters, periodic monitoring and addressing deviations needing actions for continuous improvement

+ Collaborate with internal customers to formulate testing plan and conduct periodic reviews for need based updating as per changing quality requirements

+ Implement defined QC methods, processes, and procedures in laboratory with periodic reviews for improvements in collaboration with R&D

+ Coordinate investigation and timely response to customers concerns and internal failure incidents related to testing results

+ Define and track KPI s to improve laboratory performances and expectations

+ Correlate suppliers or Customers inspection method in COA with Company's to ensure it meets product quality requirements


+ Bachelors degree, preferably a BS in Chemical Engineering

+ 5-10 years experience with Quality systems

+ Chemistry or Processing Lab and Process Plant experience

+ Must have significant experience and detailed knowledge of Statistical Process Control

+ Process and Technology knowledge and expertise

+ Six Sigma Trained and/or Willingness to pursue further education to obtain certification (e.g.,

+ ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Quality Inspector, ISO Lead Auditor, Problem Solving).

+ Must have knowledge of Quality Management processes, i.e., internal auditing of process and

+ products

+ Documentation and systems approach

+ Working knowledge and use of SAP and Sales Force experience

+ Conceptual thinking & Analytical thinking
