**Quality Manager**


**Location:** Reno, NV.


Seeking a Quality Manager to be located at its Corporate Headquarters in Reno, Nevada to support the optimization and modernization of the company s manufacturing plant operations. The candidate will report to the Director of Operations and responsibilities will likely vary with the needs of the company.


Responsibilities include:


+ Continuing development of DIS Quality standards this includes both internal standards and external standards for our suppliers.

+ Implementation and modification of DIS QMS

+ Develop and monitor quality metrics

+ Perform root cause analysis on non-conforming items and resolve

+ Monitoring and developing improvements for Non-Conformance system Act as link between Manufacturing and Engineering in development of manufacturing of new products and manufacturing improvements in existing products.

+ Provide product process DFM Design for Manufacturing input to Engineering to enhance manufacturability and reduce product cost.

+ Develop improved manufacturing practices for existing products

+ Review plans and drawings for accuracy and completeness, develop improved drawing/plan templates

+ Read, understand, and verify bills of material BOMs , assembly drawings, engineering tolerances, and other technical information Establish and support best quality practices within manufacturing

+ Train plant staff on first article checks and perform periodic audits to maintain compliance with quality policy.

+ Work directly with manufacturing team to determine needs to improve processes and reduce NCI's

+ Provide technical support analyzing and/or performing failure analysis for discrepant production components, assemblies and field returns

+ Establish plan to implement, monitor, and ensure compliance to ISO 9001:2015 within the organization

+ Organize and perform ISO 9001:2015 internal audits, and participate in management reviews

+ Take the lead in development of installation procedures for DIS products

+ Perform onsite installation supervision

+ Support safety initiatives throughout the organization

+ Participate in safety committee meetings

+ Work with outside safety consultants

+ Help establish and maintain a safety focused culture within the company


Requirements:


+ Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience

+ 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing/quality/NPI engineering role

+ Strong work ethic and attention to detail

+ Six Sigma Certification a Plus

+ Experience with ISO 9001:2015 a plus

+ Self-starter, ability to identify and resolve problems, ability to ask for assistance from management or peers when needed

+ Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, excellent problem solving ability's, team player, ability to work with team members from varied backgrounds

+ Ability to work with in a fast paced changing environment.

+ Ability to work in a manufacturing setting


Compensation/Benefits:


+ Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

+ We offer excellent benefits including 100% paid Medical/Dental/Vision insurance for the employee.

+ 3 weeks PTO (paid time off) plus 1 week PL (personal leave).

+ Company paid holidays (10 per year)

+ 401K plan with employer matching 50% of a 6% contribution.
