**Kelly Services** is currently seeking a **R&D Project Manager** in **Spring House, PA** to work a contract assignment 12 **month duration** for one of our top clients. **Primary Responsibilities includes:**



The Nonclinical Development NCD Program Manager PM provides project management support to NCD Leaders and NCD teams. This support includes building project timelines of nonclinical safety, ADME and bioanalytical studies, developing and analyzing scenarios, risk assessment and mitigation planning. The PM develops project budgets and works with NCD Planning and Resource Management and NCD functions to develop resource FTE needs.The PM works in close collaboration with the NCD Planning and Resource Management group who is responsible for nonclinical study planning.The PM provides support for continuous forecasting, quarterly financial updates, development of Business Plan budgets and FTEs and preparation for Governance Meetings.The PM is a member of the NCD team sub-team of the compound development team and works with the project management teams PMT and with NCD functions to facilitate successful project execution, achievement of key deliverables and of budget and FTE goals. As a member of the Project Management Team, the PM supports cross-functional planning, budgeting and resourcing activities.



PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Be an active member of assigned NCD Teams and PMTs; Build and maintain project plans; Develop OOPs and FTE forecasts; Track actual expenses and FTEs against forecasts; Support process improvement projects within the Project Management Organization; Liaise with project finance, Program Management and customer groups from R D Companies and the Global Development Organization



DECISION-MAKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING:Collaborates with the NCD Team and NCD Team Leaders to make decisions regarding project timelines in order to meet project goals. Makes decisions regarding project resource needs out of pocket and FTEs to assure that project team has adequate resources to achieve project goals while adhering to company spending/ staffing policies.Works with NCD team to adapt to issues that arise, manages risks and still achieve project goals. Shows creativity in assisting NCD Team in meeting project timelines, budget and resourcing goals despite changes in project scope and strategy, and development issues.Manages the budget versus spending to achieve Company requirements.



EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors Degree or higher in Scientific Discipline Masters Degree or PhD preferred .Minimum 7 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and drug development required.Knowledge of Preclinical Development is a requirement. Experience in Project Management is a must. Knowledge of project management tools and techniques is a plus, such as Planisware, MS project. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in working in multinational/ multicultural organizations.Related experience: 6-8 years
