Shift: Mon-Fri (1st shift)


Duration: 12 months to start


Location: On Site Carlsbad, CA


**Description:**

Our Research and Development team crafts novel products that empower scientists in their quest to gain a deeper understanding of cell biology and enables groundbreaking research in fields like immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases. We are passionate about providing the latest innovations in dyes and instrumentation, alongside a growing antibody portfolio to push the boundaries of flow cytometry, western blotting, and imaging. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will have a direct impact on life science research and opportunities to learn and develop your career.


**Responsibilities:**

Validating and supporting the commercialization of a novel assay for flow cytometry by

Acquiring and implementing knowledge from current literature to design and perform experiments, conducting troubleshooting with some supervision

Documentation of results in lab notebook

Utilizing conventional and spectral flow cytometry technology and analyzing resulting data sets

Managing multiple experiments concurrently to meet product release timelines

Preparation of serum from human and mouse blood or tissue culture and downstream processing of samples

Preparing and presenting written and oral reports to manager and extended R&D teams

Communicating and working effectively with team members across the organization to optimize product development

Performing other responsibilities to support the team, as assigned


**Education:**

Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology with a focus on immunology, oncology, cell biology or related field with 3+ years of industry OR equivalent research experience


**Experience:**

Hands-on experience with setting up and performing multi-color flow cytometry experiments, including data collection, analysis and interpretation of results and troubleshooting

Comfortable in processing blood with moderate supervision and familiarity with basic immune cell subsets

Experience with PrimeFlow assay, small particle flow cytometry and/or extracellular vesicle biology are a plus


**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and FlowJo software

Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Highly collaborative, enjoys working with a diverse team and supports an inclusive environment
