**Reactor Project Engineer**

**Location:** Denver, Colorado

**Salary Range:** $95k+/year DOE.

The **Reactor Project Engineer** is responsible for providing the product leadership to assure delivery of the Reactor/Heat Exchanger sub-system to specifications, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in leading a team in the development of large complex automated chemical systems consisting of mechanical, plumbing, manual and automated valving, electrical, process control and instrumentation elements in both start-up and large corporate environments.


This position is not eligible for work visa (H-1B).


**Essential Job Duties:**

Communicate with Rapid Ramp Project Manager and Engineering Function Leads regarding project status, issues, resource management, and resolutions.

Schedule, coordinate, and drive the development and delivery of the Reactor/Heat Exchanger sub-system to specification, schedule and budget.

Coordinate all associated procurement, fabrication, and assembly.

Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Preparing all related project and product documentation required for development and product manufacturing.

Keeping detailed records of all plans, schedules, calculations, procedures, receipts and any other documentation associated with the project.

Track key design, technologies, and fabrication progress indicators and coordinate with Rapid Ramp Project Manager.

Negotiate with vendors on requirements, track and drive on-time deliveries to specifications.


**Requirements:**

BS in Engineering (EE, ME, or ChemE)

Experience in high-tech project and team management

Ability to multitask efficiently

Independent self-starter

Ability to maintain documentation and project records

Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Office software skills (document, spreadsheet, and presentation)

Willingness to work in an Ubuntu GNU/Linux computing environment


**Additional beneficial skills/experience:**

PMP certification

Knowledgeable in Agile and Waterfall project management methods

Experience in PERT, GANTT, Pareto analysis and presentation

Experience in a chemical processing environment

Excellent critical thinking skills

Strong teamwork skills

Ability to self-direct and drive to aggressive milestones

High attention to detail

Solid interpersonal skills

Desire to learn with high adaptability
