he Real Estate & Property Management Project Coordinator supports FlightSafety Internationals goal of being the best choice in training by coordinating real estate, facility maintenance, and construction related project assignments, controlling project activities, and communicating the current state of the project in relation to the goals of the project. This position will collect, plan, and coordinate the information and resources needed to generate quality deliverables on time, on budget, and per scope and work collaboratively with consultants and other FlightSafety teammates.


TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.


+ Provide administrative functions as needed to support corporate real estate units (construction, facility management, & real estate).

+ Monitoring the daily progress of projects

+ Providing detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders

+ Ensuring team members have the supplies and resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time and within their budget limits

+ Organizing reports, invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access

+ Assist in the collection of signatures related to AP procedures.

+ Planning meetings and organizing project logistics

+ Assist with organizing and document folder structures, FSI standards, and contract management.

+ Develops concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, the budget, outlining the duties of each team members, identifying project goals, quality standards, and setting a timeline for the project.

+ Assists in determining deliverables produced, activities performed, work estimates developed, and identifying the management tools required to measure the progress of those activities and deliverables.

+ Closely monitors each project he or she manages to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, maintains quality standards, and develop according to plan.

+ Gathers and documents all project results and lessons learned upon completion and then reports them to the appropriate parties.


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Travel, as required (Minimal).


EQUIPMENT/ SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


+ Basic office equipment (PC/Copier)

+ Basic office software (Access, MS Word, Outlook)

+ Knowledge of real estate and property management


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


+ High School diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (G.E.D. demonstrated satisfactory performance in General Educational Development Testing Program).

+ Expereince in Commercial Real Estate

+ Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred; or the ability to obtain CAPM certificate within 12 months of hire.

+ Strong organizational skills required.
