**Job Description**


Coordinates/Manages activities of workers engaged in either receiving incoming shipments or shipping outbound freight by performing the following duties:


Monitors and prioritizes work flow of functional work area as directed by the Manager: Distribution Center & Door Plant.

Coordinates with Distribution Center\Door Plant Manager to oversee incoming shipping or outbound shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.


Under general supervision of the Distribution Center \ Door Plant Manager, oversee and coordinate the daily work processes of the Distribution Center Worker\ Yard Driver and the Distribution Center Worker\Floater.

Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

Coordinate with departmental personnel to minimize product damage.

Generates and maintains accurate and complete documentation.

Generates and maintains accurate and complete documentation.

Meet Daily with the Distribution Center\Door Plant Manage, Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Distribution Center Inventory Control personal to discuss departmental workflow, resolve problems, and ensure timely and efficient operations of Monroe Distribution Center functions.

Trains new and temporary employees on the proper procedures and methods for doing assigned tasks and completes necessary paperwork to document training.

Over see the work of employees in assigned area to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, proper procedures and correcting of errors or problems.


Participates as a working member of the department and performs all assigned duties of a distribution center worker.


**Requirements**


REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- High school diploma or G.E.D., preferred

- Previous experience operating a counterbalanced 2,500 to 5,000 pound Gas/LP or electric sit-down rider

- Must have 2 + years supervisory experience in a Senior or Lead capacity

- 5+ years previous Fork Lift experience (Current Fork Lift Certification)

- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and other Windows applications.

- Knowledge of Inventory software,

- Valid Driver's License Required (Maintenance of an acceptable driving record is a condition of employment. Must maintain a MVR that meets or exceeds company insurability standards.


SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Must have excellent attention to detail and quality control skills Good math skills

- Excellent time management, organizational, and detail orientation skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks.

- Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balanced are required.

- Must be able to work alone or as part of a team to contribute to the overall goals of the department

- Ability to reach and to lift product selected weighing up to approximately 100 lbs.

- Must speak, read, and write English at a level required for satisfactory performance.

- Basic data entry skills, preferred.

- Ability to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes/boots and gloves

while performing duties.

- Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance are required. Ability to stand, walk, and move rapidly

for entire work shift. Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Ability to do repetitious arm movements

above and below shoulder level required product movement.

- Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.

- Ability to work in outside weather conditions including extremes of heat and cold. Distribution Center is not

climate controlled.
