Kelly services is looking for a recruiter in the Cleveland area. This would be a 1st shift temp to hire position with a pay rate of $17.84 an hour.


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience with strong customer focus, preferably in human resources and/or employment related activities.

Education/Licensing: High School education; college coursework in Human Resources or Bachelor's degree preferred.


POSITION OBJECTIVE

Under the moderate supervision of the director, this position is responsible for recruiting staff talent to the university. This individual is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success for assigned areas


1. Provide guidance to managers on all matters related to employment including interpretation of human resources policies and procedures, affirmative action, interviewing and employment laws. Develop and execute recruiting plans. Meet and conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

2. Screen and evaluate resumes. Review and analyze candidates qualifications against job requirements for appropriate matches. Conduct prescreening and interviews. Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Submit the best qualified candidates to hiring managers. Advise in interviewing and selecting employees.

3. Perform reference and background checks for potential employees. Prepare and deliver letters and correspondence. Prepare and send offer packages and orientation materials. Ensure a smooth on-boarding process for new employees and a seamless transition for transferring employees.

4. Source candidates and actively recruit a diverse qualified applicant pool. Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

5. Participate in preparing and delivering training programs related to recruitment and selection.
