Description **Job Description**

This position will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing and hiring of talent to fill the organizational needs in the Greater Hartford Area. This will require performing end-to-end recruiting and on boarding. This individual will work closely with peers and supervisors to identify educational staffing needs, develop job specification and work with external sources to post position, screen resumes and select appropriate candidate that fits the needs of the school system. Once an individual is selected, the recruiter will work with this candidate through to hire and orientation. Lastly, this individual will also work closely with the account manager and recruiting team in developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to develop, expand and manage candidate pools.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Stays abreast of sourcing tools and technologies and utilizes various strategies to develop candidate profiles and build internal talent pools.

Manages the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track progress of searches, documents leads and candidates.

Ability to maintain monthly reporting on recruiting activity.

Oversees open house and on-site events to recruit candidates as needed. Attends job fairs and represents Kelly Educational Staffing as an Employer of Choice.

Reviews resumes received, conducts preliminary candidate screenings and provides recommendations.

Communicates with candidates to follow up on process steps.

Maintains strong understanding of and compliance with all employment regulations and policies.

Coordinates and schedule phone and onsite interviews.

Provides timely communication and counsel to Kelly Educational Staffing employees.

Creates, reviews and maintains talent profile library and position profiles.

Collects and audits all pre/post interview paperwork.

**Requirements**

Desirable qualifications and experience:

The successful candidate should possess a minimum of an associates degree with one to two years of experience in an administrative and customer service role.

The key competencies for the KES Commercial Recruiter include the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and accomplish many detail-oriented tasks simultaneously. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate a strong customer focus, team orientation, and technical proficiency (i.e. computer skills).
