Kelly Services is currently hiring a **Regulatory Specialist** for a **DIRECT HIRE** position in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time role with benefits with great career growth potential! The Regulatory Specialist will lead and maintain the regulatory program on a local, US and global platform as required.

The Regulatory Specialist will participate in new product development, improved product components, reduced costs and improved quality to support growth of the business.

**This job operates in a professional quality control chemical laboratory environment.**


+ Experience in resolving regulatory questions and interpretations from internal and external sources

+ Working knowledge of global, US and local regulatory regulations and requirements


+ SAP Knowledge

+ Knowledge of toxicology

**Essential Functions**

+ Drive the integrity and quality of the regulatory program on a local, US and global level as required

+ Create, implement, interpret and maintain regulatory documents and compliance to the broadest level

+ Support R&D, sales, customers, purchasing, QC and manufacturing teams to meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines

+ Update and maintain regulatory data in SAP, SDS and Technical Data Bulletins and other pertinent databases

+ Learn and maintain working knowledge of EPA, TSCA, Sara, FDA, GHS, REACH, etc. programs and regulations

+ Liaise with agency officials on registrations, reporting, and audits

**Education and Experience** :

+ Masters Degree in Chemistry with 5 + years of regulatory experience

+ Good chemical knowledge

**Preferred Education and Experience**

+ Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry with 5+ years regulatory experience

+ Familiarity of IUPAC nomenclature

**This role routinely uses:**

+ Standard QC equipment (pH meter, Karl Fischer, Autotitrator, Viscometer, FTIR, Spectrometer, etc.)

+ Standard lab equipment [glassware, chemicals, etc.]

+ Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
