**Data Analytics Specialist**


**Job Description:**


The Regulatory Affairs Data Analytics Specialist will support Johnson & Johnson MedTech companies. This role involves a multi-faceted set of skills including cross-functional collaboration and planning/oversight/execution of projects & activities that directly impact the operational result of the business. The Data Analytics Specialist will work closely with Franchise and Regional Regulatory Affairs groups to integrate and leverage disparate data sources to provide beneficial insights. This role is a key contributor to the creation of a data-driven culture for Regulatory Affairs.


**Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:**


+ Work with the Sr. Manager, RA Data Analytics & Insights as well as Franchises and Regions to design and conduct impactful analysis projects on both ad-hoc and ongoing basis

+ Produce analysis and visualizations that demonstrate analytical results in an easily digestible manner for technical and non-technical audiences

+ By request or independently identify and implement opportunities to improve or standup data-driven decision making across the organization

+ Assist in the development, maintenance and enhancement of the organizations data infrastructure and reporting environment

+ Implement, improve, and document organizational data policies and procedures to align with industry best practices

+ Ensures department data are properly organized and maintained by development of process flow, job aids training and ensuring data entry follow appropriate guidelines

+ Drives a culture of continuous improvement to ensure compliance with Johnson and Johnson standards, regulatory requirements, and expectations

+ Ensure all data management activities are conducted in accordance with high ethical and quality standards and all applicable regulations and company procedures

+ Serves as a technical SME on internal teams to provide input for internal and external system development activities including user requirements, reporting requirements, data field definition, system to system interaction, business systems architecture and landscape

+ Provides business level technical support and training for systems as well as data migration and integrity initiatives as systems are updated or changed

+ Represent GRA Analytics on Cross Functional Teams


+ Master of data validation, data inputs and data outputs across the entire RA HMD organization

+ Performs external data reconciliation with RA databases and reviews data to ensure accuracy and completeness


**Qualifications / Requirements:**


+ A bachelors/undergraduate degree is required

+ A minimum of 5+ years of experience inclusive of post graduate education and/or pharmaceutical or health care industry experience is required

+ Experience with any or all the following (Tableau, SharePoint, Excel) is required

+ Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, R, Python

+ Leads the development of effective networks with global internal/external business partners as well as collaborates with technical colleagues on assessments and evaluation of new technologies is required


**Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**


+ PMP certification

+ Strong leadership and planning skills with the ability to work across diverse business landscapes

+ Maximize the power of diversity and inclusion

+ Familiarity with Jira and Confluence

+ Experience with global/regional software/applications such as MDRIM, Trackwise, PowerApps, etc. is highly preferred

+ Familiarity with managing and utilizing large datasets, understanding of data processing and analysis workflows
