**Job Scope:**
Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state product regulations, leading product labeling, SDS program, HSE (health, safety and environmental) management programs for plant, providing support for environmental management program for field and to the human resources and sales departments.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Manages federal and state registration programs including required reporting
Manages international registration program including reporting
Leads environmental management program at IBC Manufacturing to ensure compliance to local, state and federal regulations and enhance performance to minimize negative impact to the environment
Leads safety management program at IBC Manufacturing to ensure compliance to TOSHA standards and enhance performance to meet industry leading performance in safety
Supports field sales and customer requests with respect to environmental impact
Prepares EPA Establishment and Tier II report as required
Manages submissions of TRI and Air Permit submissions
Manages hazardous waste program for plant
Provides customers with product-specific information as requested
Works with third-party consultant and Manager of Technology to generate safety data sheets for new products and revise existing data sheets as appropriate
Acts as administrative contact for Chemtrec emergency services for ISK Biocides, Inc. and its affiliates
Utilizes ERP program as needed to support business requirements
This position also has a dotted line reporting requirement to the VP of Operations for IBC Manufacturing Company
Must be authorized to work in the United States and willing and able to commute to the Memphis, TN location on a daily basis.
Must have at least a Bachelors Degree or higher
5+ years in the chemical processing industry is preferred
Strong communication skills are required as this person will also be working closely with members of our parent company in Osaka, Japan.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to travel as needed approximately 25% is required.
