**What would you be doing?**

As an OnStar Account Manager your key performance indicators will revolve around customer acquisition for OnStar and Connected Services throughout a designated local territory of non-GM franchise automotive dealerships, independent automotive dealerships, automotive service centers, car washes, and other automotive related businesses. You will be responsible for building relationships and creating brand awareness of OnStar product offerings with sales consultants, dealer managers, service advisors, and business owners, with a primary focus of helping them integrate OnStar and Connected Services products into their delivery processes.

**Whats a typical day as an Automotive Sales Account Manager like? You will:**

+ Using Microsoft Teams or phone/email: Initiate dealer interactions, meetings, training, promotions, and sales contests to create awareness of GM's portfolio of OnStar & Connected products includes managing an existing account and developing new accounts

+ Drive customer acquisition and engagement of GM OnStar and Connected Services by establishing business relationships throughout your designated territoryin non-GM automotive dealerships, independent dealerships, automotive service centers, etc.

+ Monitor and manage dealership/business performance

+ Create business plans, including actions for improving performance and profitability within local territory by analyzing sales and performance reports

+ Resolve all raised customer satisfaction issues through appropriate channels

+ Conduct training calls with dealership/business personnel on the portfolio of products, services, and the proper delivery process

**This might be an outstanding fit if you:**

+ Are located **in or near Detroit, Michigan** (position is fully remote, location is still a requirement)

+ Are able to prospect and develop new business accounts - familiarity with new and or pre-owned vehicle dealership operations preferred

+ Are motivated by results and a self-starter

+ Open to work hours required to be effective in assigned territory

+ Possess a **4-year accredited College Degree** (preferred), will consider previous professional experience and/or active-duty military service as alternative

+ Are able to present a valid **Drivers License** (prior to start)
