Remote Clinical Research Coordinator

Kelly is currently seeking a **Remote Clinical Research Coordinator** for a long-term engagement with one of our Global Med Device clients out of California
This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. **Summary:**
The Data Network and Clinical Research Team is looking for an individual with experience in supporting teams and key players.
The Clinical Research Associate will focus on providing an array of administrative, logistical, and clinical contract support to members of the Digital Solutions organization.
The right candidate will be professional, motivated, and familiar with current technology for day-to-day operations within the team and across the organization and company.
**Responsibilities:**
Schedule and help plan agenda and project meetings for the Data Network and Clinical Research team
Team calendar management across stakeholders and time zones
Attending internal and external stakeholder meetings as scribe
Provide meeting minutes and reminders to team
Coordinate and maintain academic research processes including but not limited to the following
Managing contracts with partner institutions, processing payments, tracking Professional Relations & Operations (PRO) requests
Tracking of key R&D projects involving key surgeons
Reviews of protocol and manuscript drafts
Handling the IRB submission and informed consent processes
Supporting manuscript peer review process
Work cross functionally with the marketing team in addition to third parties on participant recruitment and contracting
Regular communication and scheduling meetings with participants
Maintaining participant biographies, name pronunciations, and project history repository for team reference
Send thank you to participants post meetings with next steps
Maintain tracking document of active contracts and hours billed against them
Coordinate onsite events, schedules, catering etc. with an emphasis on onsite VIP visits
Schedule and manage virtual meetings, webinars, and breakout rooms for the R&D project team
Work alongside the project lead to update standard team and project templates for communication, presentations, leadership reviews etc.
**Qualifications:**
Strong communication skills, proactive, and detailed-oriented
Strong computer skills with cloud and desktop applications- Comfortable using a PC or Mac laptop. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook Calendars, and PowerPoint
Comfortable with virtual meeting software: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral
A minimum of a High School diploma is required, a relevant life science Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
Must have some scientific background by education or experience (Lab coordinator from university would be a good match)
Experience organizing research studies is a plus
Experience utilizing common reference managers/data management experience is a plus (tools common to research groups)
Must have strong organizational skills and excellent judgment and reasoning abilities.
Individual must be customer and employee focused, able to multi-task and work under minimal supervision, and demonstrate resiliency and high productivity in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong computer skills and proficiency with productivity tools and portal technology and working with Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as virtual meeting software.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others. Will be directly interfacing with surgeons and internal/external stakeholders, so a high level of professionalism is required
This is a new startup department so the ability to adapt to and accept change is critical to contractor success in this role.
Prior experience handling sensitive and confidential information and documents is preferred.
