**Direct Hire Position**

**Pay Rate- $22.50- $30.00 hour**

**Essential Job Functions**

**Lab Scale Technical & Administrative Duties**

+ Perform calibrations, repairs, and coordinate depot or vendor repairs for lab equipment.

+ Prepare calibration certification forms for lab calibrations performed and provide to customer.

+ Strong customer presence and experience in reviewing technical information with customers and demonstration of a strong interest in helping them achieve improved outcomes.

+ Experienced communicator who is able to explain complex issues to customers who have a wide range of technical experiences.

+ Strong problem-solving abilities: The ability to identify the root causes of service issues the first time, using your knowledge of the products and your comfort with hand tools, diagnostic tools, and calibration equipment.

+ High attention to detail and focus on quality.

+ Complete requisitions to order parts for lab work orders as needed and submit to local Operations Support Coordinator.

+ Submit completed work orders and required paperwork to billing department as required in a timely manner.

+ Submit essential paperwork to Administrative team members to ensure new PM agreements are set up and communicate with Operations Manager, Service Coordinator, Sales Engineers, and Technicians as needed to ensure customer needs are being met.

+ Experience utilizing CRM and ERP applications preferred.

+ Maintaining inventory necessary to meet a high first time-fix-rate.

+ Submit expense reports and receipts for all Company Credit Card Charges in a timely manner.

+ Other shop and/or office duties may be assigned.

**Account & New Business Development**

+ Generate and develop new Lab service business accounts to increase revenue.

+ Develop and manage a funnel of target prospects; closely partner with Operations Managers and Field Sales Representatives in developmening Account & Territory Plans that drive business growth.

+ Schedule appointments and routinely visit existing and new customer sites to determine new sales and service opportunities and follow up on customer satisfaction with current products and services.

+ Concentrate on selling new Preventive Maintenance Agreements and lead efforts to modernize, upgrade and convert customer existing equipment.

+ Use marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.

+ Continuously update all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.

**Qualifications for Field Service Technician**

+ Previous experience in field or technical service or have related experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment; candidates with experience in related disciplines are encouraged to apply (i.e., experience in the fields of Quality, Chemistry, Technical Analysis, etc.)

+ An associate degree is required, a focus on electronics or mechanical engineering a plus.

+ Previous experience and/or background in industrial weighing devices preferred.

+ Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs. on occasion.

+ Standing and squatting for long periods of time

+ Able to sit and/or drive for extended hours with few breaks up to eight hours a day.

+ Excellent customer service skills, detail orientation, and great verbal and written communication skills.

+ General knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with NetSuite a plus.

+ Must be highly motivated, a self-starter, assertive, and posses time management skills.

+ Must maintain a valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.

+ Overnight travel required to cover assigned territory.

Benefits - PTO starts after 6-months of service but is negotiable. PTO starts at 80.0 and then increases to 120.0 after a year of service.
