Kelly Science & Clinical has a new contract-to-hire opportunity for an Animal Care Tech with a large Research facility in Morrisville, NC.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Breed, raise, and care for small research animals by following local, state, and national regulations

Monitor animal behavior and physical attributes to ensure animal health

Coordinate with Customer Service for scheduling and ordering needs


You would be a good fit if you meet the following requirements:

AS/BS degree in a science-related discipline, preferred

Excellent attendance history

Previous experience handling animals (research environment, preferred)

Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Note: must not currently own, live with, or handle (alive or frozen) any rodents such as: rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas


This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position. Hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday Friday. Pay will range between $15-16/hr., based on educational background and related experience, and is a great way to gain Industry experience.
