Kelly Sciences has an exciting opportunity to work for a start up company in the Bay Area. Work for a company dedicated to the research and development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Design and execute in vivo rodent models and/or in vitro/ex vivo cellular assays with primary cells from human and mouse tissues, as well as cell lines

+ Assist with preclinical [SK1] biomarker development

+ Generate, collect, analyze data and present scientific findings at internal research meetings

+ Collaborate and coordinate with internal scientists and external collaborators to design and troubleshoot experimental protocols to optimize endpoints both externally and internally

+ Prepare and maintain reagents and media

+ Ensure sufficient laboratory supplies for daily laboratory operations

+ Assist other staff to complete laboratory tasks, as necessary

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment


**Requirements:**


+ Bachelors or Master's degree degree in Biochemical, Chemical, or Biology related disciplines with 2-5 years of experience (academic or industry)

+ Hands on experience in standard cellular assays and techniques, including cell isolation, cell culture, flow cytometry, and ELISA and/or Experience with performing basic in vivo animal model techniques (animal handling and injection) and tissue collection is required


**Preferred Requirements**


+ Background in immunology/neuroinflammation is desirable

+ Pharma/biotech experience is desirable

+ Excellent technical writing skills and ability to prepare written reports are desirable

+ Strong data analysis skills and excellent organizational skills


**Shift**


+ M-F 8am-5pm
